Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Catherine King and I am the Trophy Pet Foods Franchisee for the Aberdeenshire area. On this page you will find out more information about our lovely British-made food, me and what I can offer.
About our food
Trophy Dog and Cat food is made in Britain, using human-grade protein from UK sources wherever possible – low food miles for all of our recipes. We DO NOT test on animals, silly though this may sound, we do not test our food or any of the ingredients on caged animals – as testament to this we have the Good Shopping Guide Ethical Award – this is an annual award and we are proud to say we retain it each year. Read more here, and check out your current brand:

Our dog food range offers human-grade protein dog food for all levels of spend, from our Standard dog food up to our Super Premium & Holistic.

About me
My franchise covers a large part of the North East of Scotland, including Aberdeen City itself, right up to Turriff in the north, Banchory and Aboyne in the west, and Stonehaven in the south. I have been serving this area since 2011 and ensuring that my customer’s pets are well fed, as well as supplying treats, leads, bowls, wild bird food, small animal food and more to the residents of this beautiful part of Scotland. To find out more, please visit my Facebook Page: /trophypetfoodsaberdeenshire
I joined the Trophy team as I wanted to work with animals and have a change of lifestyle – I worked for Grampian Police for many years as an Intelligence Analyst and when an opportunity arose to take voluntary redundancy it was an ideal time to make a fresh start and work for myself. I was delighted to receive the Best New Franchisee Award for 2011 and I love running my own business.
My own dogs love trying out the different Trophy dog foods and treats. They are Paddy (black & white Cocker), Caley (golden Cocker), Kooki (tri-Beagle) and Alfie (tan & white Beagle). Caley (11) was recently diagnosed with diabetes and has sadly lost her sight. Paddy (10) is our neurotic and needy boy but he's lovely with it, Kooki (4) is a true Beagle – mischievous, strong-willed and stubborn, and finally Alfie (5) is a life-changing dog and the only Flyball Beagle running in Open Competition in Scotland
Check out his facebook page at /flyballbeagle to find out more about this exciting team sport.
We rehomed Kooki in August 2016 from Beagle Welfare, a wonderful charity my husband and I volunteer for as home-checkers. http://www.beaglewelfare.org.uk/
I also have a 17 year-old cat called Jack, 3 guinea pigs called Penny, Zoey & Ziggy, 2 degus and a goldfish to round off the menagerie!
